Red Tool Rustic - Rustic wood art decor
As kids, my brothers and I idolized my grandpa Vic. He was a skilled woodworker, general contractor, artist, architect and an expert handyman. In his garage/workshop he identified all of his tools by spray-painting the handles cardinal red. One of my prized possessions is his Estwing hammer spray painted red. His hammer still gets used today. In remembrance of grandpa Vic and his red tools, Red Tool Rustic was born.
The transformation of broken to beautiful is the main driving force behind Red Tool Rustic. Creating art from discarded, broken and reclaimed wood is often a transformation process that emulates and mimics different times and events in our lives. My hope is that my art uplifts the soul, giving credence to the quote below. Thanks for visiting. Enjoy!
